Korhan Karusagi

I was born on October 22nd, 1966 in Istanbul, Turkey; and graduated from Istanbul Erkek High School and Bursa Uludag University, Econometry Dept. respectively.

I started my musical activities as early as a teenager playing guitar and bass. There had been some time when I had performed in every night club in Istanbul where live music was made. I played bass with Eren Kazim Akay, and guitar with Tibet Agirtan and Kirik Kalpler. I had my debut in studio recording playing guitar for a song in Tanju Eren's album "40." I also played guitar with the band named "Zinde Fertler" with my friends from Istanbul Erkek High School.

I worked as a tradesman for 11 years in my own company in Sultanhamam with great pleasure. In 2005, I declared "enough is enough" and closed down my business to be able to give more time to my lifelong hobbies such as playing guitar, recording and photography. Last year I released an album named "Seriously..." consisting of my home recordings. I have participated in group exhibitions. I have two lovely daughters, Pamir (19) and Maya (7) and I have been living in Almaty, Kazakhstan for the past 5 years.
